The Outlook Kitchen & Bar
American, Upscale, Breakfast & Brunch
70 Sleeper St, Boston, MA 02210
"Awash in innovation, like the neighborhood they serve, The Envoy Hotel restos are buzzy and brilliant—one up, one down, fittingly christened Lookout and Outlook respectively. Lookout Rooftop Bar outshines its entire class—overlooking the city, but not the defining details. In both, food is a forethought, handcrafted and highly creative, and whisked from kitchens with a recipe to delight. Drinks echo, with small-batch distillers, rock-star brewers and single vineyard labels all making the list. To accompany, there’s a design flair in tow, a lively mix of bold spaces and clubby nooks where teams can pre-flight their presentation or revel in its success, and friends can socialize as twos or tens, agreeably. All of it down the street from the office, native to celebrations, short-listed by locals, and simply delicious."

I went with 3 other friends to the outlook kitchen for brunch on a Sunday morning. Its located in a hotel and was fairly empty around 11:15am. I got to try the burger and their waffles. The burger was decently juicy with some pretty good fries however the avocado that was served was already browned. The waffles were ok - nothing special to write about. Service was good though!
For a hotel restaurant this place is remarkable. The wait staff is friendly and engaging. We went as a couple for a date night, but saw plenty of singles scattered about enjoying themselves. The drinks were delicious and well crafted. I ordered “Whom Dobel Tolls” a tequila drink with pineapple. I love tequila but found this to be exceptionally sweet, likely I’ll order it with Ghost Tequila next time for a little spice. The Chicken was super moist though we weren’t amazed by the filet mignon for the price. Dessert however was the redeeming wow! We had s’mores pie and it was unbelievable. Had smoked marshmallows that instantly transported you to a fireside. I would definitely go here for drinks and dessert again!
Food was great. Samba chicken was really good! Ohh and the sea salted caramel
Milk shake was unbelievable. Service was amazing. We had a great waiter. Would def go back!
