"Long ago chef Ngamprom "Hong" Thaimee left her modeling and television work in Thailand and made her way into the world of food, training under Thailand's most celebrated chef, M.L. Sirichalerm Savsti. Eventually she came to New York, where Thaimee cooked at Jean-Georges' Spice Market & Perry Street. Since 2011, she has helmed Thaimee Table (and, more recently, 2 other Thaimee restaurants in NYC). The Union Square flagship serves modern Thai comfort food, including tom yum soup, khao soi with dumplings, Thai burger with papaya salad, pad Thai with grilled black tiger prawns and her dad's laab. You'll also find a smaller lunch menu, plus a bar serving wine, beer & cocktails."

Chiang mai fries were amazing! We also ordered the pad kee mao, pad see ew and green curry... all the dishes were really good and would highly recommend.
The food and environment was fantastic. Rustic and sleek restaurant with out a pretentious vibe. The food genuinely stood out. Highly recommend the Green Curry and the Ginger Soda.
