"Left Bank is at its core a New York bistro, inspired by Greenwich Village itself, and influenced by European sensibilities. From our landmarked building in Manhattan's historic district, large bay windows on both sides reflect our open-book, unpretentious style of cooking and service. Our food is inspired by our local farmers, recipes of days gone by, and the relationships we have with our guests. Left Bank continues to evolve with an entrepreneurial spirit and a sincere desire to serve simple, wholesome, delicious food and drink to New Yorkers and passersby."

Really cute restaurant with fun French music, we felt like we were back in Paris. The maple syrup pie was different and interesting, like maple candy almost. The cacio e pepe and the trout were also fantastic. Not to mention the staff, our water was constantly refilled with a smile and our waitress was delightful. Great vibe, would definitely return.
Fantastic food with subpar service. The Dutch babies are to die for and worth the 22 minute wait for them to bake. However we had ordered the latkes as an app since we knew of the long preparation and they didn't bring them out until 30 seconds before our dishes. The waitress was barely present and we waited a long time to order both drinks and food and to get the check...she was rather grumpy. The mimosas were also $14 which is a bit absurd. Would go back for the Dutch babies, but that's probably all I would order
My friend and I came for brunch. I ordered the Salmon and Whitefish Benedict and my friend ordered the Huevos Rancheros. Both were delicious. We also ordered tea and it came in a cute little teapot. The staff was nice and the space was cute.
