A more modern take on Italian , everything we ordered tasted very fresh and delicious but kind of missing that "homey" vibe that we wanted. The happy hour was very great too included drinks and apps.
There's no two ways about it, this place just has flat out amazing food and service. Our waitress was fun, engaging, and despite showing a tiny lack of knowledge, recommended some of the most delicious food I've ever tried. Get the octopus appetizer.
The $5 happy hour wine was amazing. For an appetizer we got meatballs and an order of calamari. The meatball was a bit greasy and accompanying garlic bread overloaded with garlic. The calamari was decent, but not amazing. The spaghetti was very good, but the fettuccini fungi was the star of the show. Our desert was the Spumoni Sunday, which was huge and very good.
