"Jane is a casual American bistro located between Greenwich Village and Soho. Since April 2001, neighborhood regulars and destination diners alike flock to Jane for the can-do welcoming attitude, lively brunch service, social happy hour scene, and creative cuisine.
Jane also serves as an ideal location for private events, from business dinners to baby showers. The bi-level space is sleek yet comforting, marrying warm walls and wood furniture with a sophisticated classic sense of design.
We aspire to be that rarest of neighborhood restaurants; a truly welcoming gathering place where the food and drinks are familiar yet original and the experience is warm and welcoming, consistent and unique."

Had the tuna tacos and the salmon entree. Everything was super fresh and well cooked. Very chill, down to earth vibe without being too casual or aloof.
I ordered a salmon Benedict and it is just like the regular salmon Benedict, nothing special. But my friend ordered french toast and it was absolutely amazing! It was fluffy, soft, creamy and sweet. Only if the strawberries were not too sour.
We got brunch at the Jane and the food was good. I had an egg white omelette and it was so yummy. My fiancé got the avocado toast which was a nice healthy option. The tea was average - thought I would be getting more for $4.50, but it was fine. Overall great vibe. One thing I would say was that it was raining the day we visited and the floors were pretty slippery.
